The IQ Level 3 Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training (QCF) is a qualification for trainers who deliver or wish to deliver conflict management training at level 2. It is suitable for all sectors where the possibility of conflict may arise and is approved by the SIA as a suitable qualification for those wanting to deliver conflict management as part of the licence linked qualifications.
How is this course assessed?
It is divided into two units and is assessed through a multiple-choice test and a portfolio of evidence.
Unit 1: Managing conflict in the workplace when dealing with Customers, Service Users or the Public
Assessed by a 20-question 45 Minute multiple-choice examination. Learners must achieve a score of at least 70% in order to pass. There is also a Portfolio based Assessment for this Unit.
Unit 2: Delivering Scenario-based conflict management training
Assessed by a portfolio of evidence Including Micro Teach.
Course Duration
This qualification is usually achieved by taking a 5-day course However can also be done via Distance Learning.
Learner Entry Requirements
Learners must have a suitable teaching qualification e.g. PTLLS at level 3 or above and be proficient in the use of the English language.
